• Responsible for close activities on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis for one of the entities of MEA Region. Worked closely with AP, HR, AR & FP&A for smooth GL closure.
• Performing GOE analysis with the relevant commentaries for variances. Involve in identifying the key improvement areas and focus towards automation projects.
• Able to perform GOE review calls with FM with minimum intervention and support. Should be aware of VAT bookings on monthly basis and reconcile the same with the tax returns submitted with the authorities. Variance analysis of actual versus budgeted/forecasted GOE numbers.
• Strong analytical and practical problem solving skills with good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Self-control and stand-alone abilities
• Sound Microsoft office skills including MS-Excel, Word and Outlook
• Strong verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated record of consistent strong performance
• Flexible for shifts during close period.
